I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. its location is fantastic, very close to the city center and the harbor. It's also fairly close to the train station, which is convenient. Secondly, the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Lastly, I really appreciated the rooms with a large outside terrace. It was a great spot to enjoy my morning coffee and take in the views.
My experience with this hotel was great.

The location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff was perfect. The included breakfast was also very varied and delicious.
Unfortunately, the rooms were, as already described here several times, very bright. So already so that you could hear the coughing and conversations from the next room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the central location of the hotel. It made it easy for me to explore the city and enjoy the nearby restaurants and bars. The room itself was comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Plus, the breakfast offered a variety of choices, and I particularly enjoyed the smell of warm croissants in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly service.

room, breakfast
Looks like they are still struggling with a few technical issues (opening of door of room, wireless). If this is solved, excellent hotel.

No Mirror in bedroom. No bar or restaurant. It's more a glorified bed and breakfast than a hotel. Reception closes at around 20.00. and you get a night key.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Vlissingen. The staff were very friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything was clean and in good working order. The location was perfect, with the city center and train station just a short distance away. I especially loved the large outside terrace where I could enjoy my morning coffee. I really got great value for my money at Hotel Zilt. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfy double bed that was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect, with the beautiful dunes and beach of Dishoek right behind the hotel. But what really stood out was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even got the bikes out for me every day, which allowed me to explore so many places and things I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. The trails along the dune were especially beautiful. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making everything perfect. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you to the excellent staff at Zilt for making my stay in Zeeland so special.
The only small thing that could have made the breakfast better was having a cupboard in the room, especially for longer stays. Other than that, everything was great and it wouldn't prevent me from staying at this hotel again.

Warm welcome from staff despite arriving close to midnight.
The main square is undergoing a major refurb - it made getting to the hotel very difficult.

The location provided great access to beaches and the Netherlands coast. The family room and close extra rooms made it easy to travel with older children and grandparents. The rooms were very clean, neat and modern. The free continental breakfast was nice and fun in the old wine cellar. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful with hotel and sightseeing needs. Definitely a must to stay at while in the area.
The hotel had no parking for our rental car. They did however provide us with a pass to park on the street nearby which allowed us to pay them a daily rate and avoid constantly putting money in a parking meter.

Liked the cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. Had a great breakfast and the staff was always ready to accommodate special needs. the setting was perfect for a romantic escape with nearby restaurants, shopping options, and stunning harbor views.
Disliked the lack of elevator and steep stairs. soundproofing could be better, as we could hear noises from other rooms and stairway.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.
The rooms was ok in terms of facilities provided, but nothing more than that. It looked rather 'cheap' (IKEA-like) and lacked a certain class. Breakfast was served in the cellar, and that's what it looked liked as well. The buffet lacked class as well (prepacked cereals, lukewarm coffee from a machine).
